At WD, we believe that building strong industry connections goes far beyond the office or the job site, it also means showing up to support the associations, causes, and communities that matter most to the industries we serve. One of the ways we do this each year is by participating in a variety of local golf tournaments, where we can meet with the people in the industries we do business with in a more casual setting.

Over the years, our team has proudly taken part in tournaments such as the MCAM Golf Tournament, MWCA Golf Tournament, the WCA Tournament, FortWhyte Alive Classic, and many others. Each event not only brings together professionals from across Manitoba’s construction, mechanical, and broader business communities, but it also allows us to directly support the organizations driving positive change in those industries.

Connecting with people in a different setting than through emails and phone calls allows us to "put a face to the name" of many people we might not cross paths with on a daily basis. These tournaments are about more than just getting out of the office to play a round of golf, they offer opportunities to strengthen industry relationships, support important causes and celebrate community. We look forward to continuing this tradition of supporting and engaging with causes that we believe in, on and off the course.
